| Winner of an invited international design competition, this 150,000 square foot intermodal transportation facility is the Manhattan terminus of the Staten Island Ferry, connecting with two subway lines, three bus lines, taxis, waterfront esplanade and other pedestrian routes on a site that includes a new two-acre public plaza. It is located at the tip of Manhattan, the first and last site on the island. |
